Perhaps you’ve spent time in the Amazon rainforest, Patagonia, or hiked parts of the Andes Mountains. Maybe you have family ties to a country in this part of the world, or maybe you’ve even seen the wingspan of a Macaw in person. Regardless of your connection to Latin America, it is estimated that 40 percent of the world’s plant and animal species are found in South America alone. What happens here has an effect on the rest of the world. Together we can make a community that sees the value of preserving wildlife in this region of the world, so come partake in essential work being done for our environment.
